PANARADA

Montepulcano d’Abruzzo

Panarda is named after  the age old antique banquet that honors the traditional Abruzzese gastronomy (the art of fine dining).  This beautiful wine is made from, specially selected, late harvest grapes that are slightly over-ripened in order to obtain their ultimate flavor, hand picked from old vines.  Vinification takes place with a prolonged maceration in order to extract all the noble characteristics of the Montepulciano grape.  At the end of the fermentation, the wine is aged in small oak casks for 18 months. Additional time in the bottle completes the aging process.  This is a beautiful red wine with noble aromas of spices, wood, and violets, and flavors of ripe red fruits, and a persistent velvety taste fit to accompany any grand meal.  Serve at room temperature.
