ALENTA
Falanghina Sannio DOC
Named for the small stream that runs across their land, this lovely wine is made from 100% hand harvested Falanghina grapes from the vineyard Jazzo. The grapes are hand harvested late in October, crushed, then fermented in stainless steel followed by 2-3 months in French barrique and a minimum of 90 days in the bottle. Alenta has a deep yellow color with golden reflections, a complex aroma of pineapple, dried fruit, apricots and pears, and a soft taste that is buttery smooth. Delicious with all types of fish dishes, white meats and seasoned cheeses. Serve chilled.
