Barrique Aged

Made from 100% hand-harvested Pinot Nero, the grapes are cold fermented and the wine is aged 18 months in new French barrique, then 3 months in stainless steel with an additional 2 months in the bottle in order to create this noble, full-bodied cardinal red wine with orange reflections.  It is beautifully balanced, rich and elegant with a bouquet of blackberry & raspberry jam and subtle toasty flavors.  A perfect complement to red meats, fowl, pasta dishes with hearty sauces and strong cheeses.
