Villa Lisa
Specially selected grapes are hand harvested in October then fermented and vinified in small concrete and steel casks at a controlled temperature, with 5-7 days on the skins. The wine is decanted twice before Christmas and in April matured in Slavonic oak casks for 6 months followed by 6 months in the bottle.
Villa Lisa Barbera has a deep ruby red color tending to garnet with age. It has a delicate, yet intense ethereal fragrance and a well-balanced velvety round, full-bodied taste. A fine accompaniment to antipasti, red meats, chicken and cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
