CAMPIROSA
From the beautiful vineyard named
Rosa (in memory of Dino’s beloved mother) situated 300 meters
above sea level, comes the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes
that make this beautiful cerasuolo wine. These grapes are vinified
without the skins under temperature controlled fermentation. The
“must” that makes up Campirosa is obtained only from
the first pressing which is called the “flower-must.”
The color recalls cherries, bright and clear. The wine has a rich
vineous flavor and refined character not commonly found nowadays
in “rose” wines.
Campirosa shows its finest qualities when served lightly chilled
with pasta dishes with red sauces and grilled or barbecued meats.
