SIGNORIO
This distinctive wine is made from 100% Nero d’Avola grapes
from vines that are between 9–20 years old. Fermentation begins
on the skins for about 8–10 days under temperature control.
The wine is then aged in stainless steel for 2 years after which it
is aged in the bottle for an additional 12 months. It is warm and
fruity with aromas of plum and blackberries and rustic notes of spice
and leather. It is pleasant on the palate, has a long finish, and
is a delight with red and roasted meats and strong cheeses.
